Cleveland Institute of Art: Alumni Profile - Steven Tatar

Steven Tatar, President and Creative Director, has been creating the Ohio Knitting Mills label, by telling the story of a factory and it's culture.  In preserving the style and techniques of the mill, Mr. Tatar explains how the Ohio Knitting Mills is reviving production, opening pop-up shops, and even published the Ohio Knitting Mills Knitting Book. The book offers hand knit patterns of 4 decades of it's iconic knitwear, while telling the story of the mill and the history of the garment industry in Cleveland.
